Eddy Krismeidi Soemawilaga

He has more than 25 years working experience on tourism and aviation in different institutions, such as ASEAN Secretariat, ASEANTA and AirAsia. While he was at the ASEAN Secretariat, he contributed towards the conclusions of key ASEAN initiatives, such as ASEAN Open Skies, ASEAN Single Aviation Market and MRA on Tourism Professionals,. He received Degree in Engineering on Urban and Regional Planning and Master Degree in Engineering on Industrial Management from the same university, Bandung Institute of Technology. He is now heading the Indonesia Affairs and Policy department of AirAsia and, in April 2021, elected as President of the ASEAN Tourism Association for 2021-2023.
