Bio

Ristian Atriandi Supriyanto (Andi) is an Indonesian Presidential PhD scholar with the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre, Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs at the Australian National University (ANU).

Before joining ANU, Andi was Associate Research Fellow with the Maritime Security Programme at the S Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) in Singapore and a researcher with the Department of International Relations at the University of Indonesia.

His research interests cover maritime security, Australia-Indonesia relations, and Indonesia’s strategic policy. Andi holds a Master of Science in Strategic Studies from RSIS and a Bachelor of Social Science in International Relations from the University of Indonesia.
